I highly recommend Rich and his crew. They did our entire upstairs, replaced some flooring, installed some flooring, took apart our gumwood stairs and took them back to their shop for sanding/finishing. None of the other hardwood floors guys did this, and had no ready solutions for fixing all the carpet nail gouges in the risers and stairs. We recently had water damage to our hardwood floor (which Prewitt had refinished nearly 7 years ago) when our dishwasher leaked. It caused buckling of several boards in a corner of the kitchen. Leslie Prewitt came over to assess the damage and recommended that we use a dehumidifier to dry out the wet boards. She said it would take a number of weeks to fully dry, but that we'd likely see the buckling entirely disappear over time. That is exactly what has happened. We had new wood put in our great room and down the hallway and had the rest of our floors refinished. The Prewitt's were always on time; kept good communication going; very trustworthy people.
